"LEAVE YOUR EXCUSES AT THE DOOR"
Many types of martial arts exist, but all share the same goal, which is to defend oneself or others from physical threat. Thus, learning a simple martial art is essential so you can defend yourself, especially if you are attacked while driving a car. Remember that when you are inside the vehicle, you are at a disadvantaged position, restrained by your seatbelt and the door. Here are a few simple martial arts moves when a stranger harasses you in the car from the outside.
When the troublemaker's hands move through the window to grab you, trap his arm by clamping his forearm between your bicep and your forearm with your left hand. With his arm trapped, the attacker instinctively uses his free arm to attack. When he does, firmly and quickly raise your elbow with his trapped limb toward his chin. If his face is near enough, the force of your elbow would deliver a painful shot on his chin. If not, he will be in such an awkward position that he will not be able to use his free hand.
You can then use your free hand to grab a weapon such as a stick, a pen, or any sharp object which you could use against the bad guy. But if no weapon is available, grab the person's free hand and jam it into the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel to the right; this will cause excruciating pain for your attacker if his hand is locked properly. Finally, press your foot on the accelerator while holding the guy this way. As the car rapidly goes faster, his position will become so awkward and painful that he will have no choice but to desperately pull his trapped arms back out.
